Who we are and what these terms cover

We operate this website through Borderless Professionals Foundation, registered in Bulgaria as Фондация „ПРОФЕСИОНАЛИСТИ БЕЗ ГРАНИЦИ“, EIK 205863450. Our registered address is Bulgaria, 7000 Ruse, 18 Oborishte Street. Our legal entity page contains our registration details. You can contact us at hi@melistics.co.

These terms apply to browsing our website, using its educational content and contacting us. Please use the site in accordance with them and applicable law. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data; reading these terms does not constitute consent to advertising or marketing.

Educational purpose

We provide general medical and dental education. Our materials do not provide a diagnosis, individual treatment advice or an emergency service. They do not create a clinician–patient relationship. Discuss decisions about your health with a qualified professional who knows your circumstances. Do not delay appropriate care because of something you read here.

Professional resources support learning and do not replace professional judgment or applicable clinical standards. A resource is accredited only if its description expressly identifies the accreditation. We may correct or update material as knowledge develops; please check its sources and review date.

Age and enquiries

We accept enquiries only from people aged 18 or over. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us in their own name. They should not send personal or medical details about a child.

When the form offers “Send message”, it submits your enquiry through our server after Google reCAPTCHA verification, and Resend handles email delivery. The success notice means our delivery provider accepted the message; it does not mean someone has read it or guarantee a response time. When the form offers “Continue to email”, it opens a draft in your own email app. You must send that draft yourself; opening it does not send an enquiry.

Provide accurate contact information and only information needed for your enquiry. Do not send medical records, identity documents, payment card details or confidential information about another person. Sending an enquiry does not create a booking, purchase or other service contract. You can also write directly to hi@melistics.co.

Using our materials

Unless a resource specifies a different licence, we permit you to read, download and print it for your own personal learning or internal professional learning, with its source and rights notices intact. You may share links to our pages. Statutory exceptions, including lawful quotation, remain available.

Please obtain permission before republishing, selling or commercially distributing our original materials. Third-party images, quotations and other materials remain subject to their own rights and licences. Do not imply that we endorse you or alter educational content in a way that misrepresents its meaning.

Images and illustrations

To illustrate our topics, we may use:

Images created or edited with artificial intelligence (AI).
Stock images available under the free Unsplash licence or the Pexels licence.
Paid stock images licensed through Envato Elements.

Stock photographs and AI images are illustrative. They do not document our actual team, patients, participants, events or treatment outcomes. Their use does not imply endorsement by the people shown.

We clearly label AI-generated or substantially AI-altered imagery alongside the image when it could be mistaken for a real person, event or clinical result. We do not present it as clinical evidence or genuine “before and after” results.

Displaying an image on our website does not grant visitors a separate licence to reuse it. Check the original source and applicable licence before reuse. Our Envato licence does not authorise visitors to extract stock assets for use elsewhere. AI generation does not, by itself, mean that an image is free of third-party rights. Statutory exceptions remain applicable.

For an image credit, source question or rights concern, contact us at hi@melistics.co with the page address and details of the image. We will review the request and correct the credit or remove the image where appropriate.

Responsible use

Do not use the site to violate another person's rights, impersonate someone, send spam or unlawful material, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access or interfere with the website's operation. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse or protect the site, subject to applicable law.

External links are provided for context. Third-party websites and services have their own terms and privacy practices; their inclusion is not a guarantee of their content or an endorsement of every service they offer.

If you are 18 or over, you can request our educational newsletter through the signup form. Subscribing is voluntary, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We use EmailOctopus to manage subscription requests and confirmation. We do not promise a fixed publication schedule. See our privacy notice for the data we process and your choices.

New subscriptions require you to follow the confirmation link sent by EmailOctopus before you receive our newsletter. The confirmation email and its confirmation page are currently in Bulgarian, whichever website language you choose. If you did not request a subscription, you can ignore the confirmation email.

Donations

You can make a voluntary one-time donation to support our educational work. We show the amount and currency before you confirm payment in Stripe’s embedded form. A donation does not buy a product or service and does not create a recurring subscription. Free resources remain available without donating.

We show a successful donation only after our server confirms a paid transaction with Stripe. If confirmation cannot be displayed, do not assume payment failed or pay again without checking. For an accidental or duplicate donation, a payment issue or a donation document, contact hi@melistics.co with the date and amount, but never your full card details. We review refund requests individually under applicable law; these terms do not waive any mandatory rights.

Planned services

Sales, bookings and accounts are planned. They are not currently available through this website. Descriptions of work in preparation do not constitute an offer to sell a particular product or provide a bookable service.

Before enabling purchases or bookings, we will identify the offering and provider and explain the total price, delivery or performance, payment, cancellation, withdrawal, refunds and any account conditions before you commit. Payment and booking providers have not yet been finalised. These website terms do not impose a no-refund rule or waive consumer rights. Any service-specific terms will be available before you enter the relevant contract.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the site useful and accurate, but access can be interrupted and information can become outdated. Please tell us about errors at hi@melistics.co. We remain responsible to the extent required by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, limits mandatory consumer protection or removes your rights regarding defective products or services if these are offered in the future.

Changes, complaints and applicable law

The publication and update dates above identify this version. We may revise these terms for changes to the site or legal requirements. Revisions apply prospectively; they do not retrospectively change a contract already concluded with you without a lawful basis.

Bulgarian law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections under the law of their habitual residence where applicable. You retain access to the courts and complaint procedures available under applicable law; these terms do not require a consumer to bring a claim exclusively in Bulgaria.
